Entry to the United States have many requirements and are currently subjected to a greater degree of scrutiny. Most foreign nationals must be able to obtain a visa through the State Department prior to traveling into the United States. It is recommended that participants start their Visa applications at least 90 days before travelling.

Citizens of countries that participate in a Visa Waiver Program typically only require registration in the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
